“Talaat Ragel” .. The story of the beautiful girl “Makkah Muhammad”, which sparked widespread controversy in Egypt after exploiting and deceiving hundreds of young people

Al-Marsad newspaper: Pictures of a girl named Mecca Muhammad Hasnaa, with a graceful figure and colorful eyes, who claimed to be a dentist in Qasr Al-Aini in her twenties, caused a sensation on social networking sites in Egypt, after she exploited young people and deceived them with her beauty, which proved to be “photoshop” of fake images used by a young man under a pseudonym.

After that, it turned out that an unknown young man was able professionally to create fake pages under the name Makkah Muhammad, and collect thousands of followers on “Instagram” and “Facebook”, and several fake pictures were installed, to show Makkah Muhammad as a twenty-year-old girl with beautiful features, claiming that she works in a charitable organization. It is known in Qasr Al-Aini, but the doctors there completely denied any presence of it in the college.

The young man hidden in the fake girl took advantage of her beautiful pictures to get closer to the young people and obtain gifts from them, sums of money and charging balances on the mobile phone, after deluding them all with imaginary stories that have no basis in reality and pictures that were installed and changed their features through electronic applications.

The shocking surprise of the young men who were deceived by the fake artist, who has beautiful pictures and angelic features, was not a girl but a young man who had been deceiving them throughout this period, and activists launched a hashtag bearing the title #The Truth_Mecca_Muhammad, so that a torrent of stories about the fake girl exploded.

A young man named Muhammad Al-Sawy, who discovered that Mecca Muhammad was fake, revealed that the fake account contacted him, acknowledging the mistake in publishing fabricated pictures, and denying all accusations of fraud, before closing the account permanently.
