The Disciplinary Committee of the Dimayor sanctioned the Barranquilla forward Téofilo Gutiérrez with three datesplayer at the service of Bucaramangaafter insulting the referee Bismarks Santiago at the end of the match on date 14 between his team and the Medellín.
The Committee reported its decision: “Sanction Mr. Teófilo Gutiérrez Roncancio, player of Club Atlético Bucaramanga SA with three (3) dates of suspension and a fine of three million four hundred and eighty thousand pesos ($3,480,000) for incurring in the infraction described in literal b) of article 64 of the CDU of the FCF; in the match played for the 14th date of the BetPlay DIMAYOR I 2023 League, against the club El Equipo del Pueblo SA”.
“After the game, in the tunnel when I was going to the referee’s dressing room, the player of Club Bucaramanga No. 29 Teófilo Gutiérrez used offensive and insulting language (…) against me,” referee Santiago wrote in his report.
As it did not happen on the field of play and a direct red card was not shown, Teo was able to be present with Bucaramanga in the duels against Santa Fe (3-0 defeat) and against Alianza Petrolera (1-1 draw).
