“Lebanon 24” reported that a large fire broke out in the grasslands of Jabal Al-Ruwaisat in the outskirts of the town of Bukarzla – Akkar, which soon spread to orchards and groves of olives, grapes and the surrounding agricultural lands.
The dry northerly winds quickly spread the fire. The people and some volunteers are trying to confront the progress of the fire with the means and tools available to them, especially since the fire engines are unable to reach the site of the fire due to the narrow and rugged agricultural roads.
