The FAR conduct a joint exercise alongside the US Army

The program for this activity includes seminars and training for managers and intervention modules as well as training in the field. Also, visits of military authorities, American and Moroccan, are planned to the various sites and training workshops, indicates a press release from the General Staff of the FAR.

On the sidelines of this exercise, the Lieutenant General, Inspector General of the FAR and Commander of the Southern Zone, received, on Tuesday September 20, 2022 at the headquarters of the General Staff of the FAR, Major General Michael Turley, Commander of the National Guard of the State of Utah, on an official visit to the Kingdom from September 19 to 22, 2022, at the head of a military delegation.

On this occasion, the two officials reviewed the various aspects of cooperation, while stressing the importance of the commitment of the National Guard of the State of Utah and the FAR to further strengthen their partnership and links that exist between the Kingdom of Morocco and the United States of America, specifies the same source.

“Morocco Mantlet” is a combined disaster management exercise which annually brings together teams specialized in disaster management from the FAR and the National Guard teams from the State of Utah as well as the American Risk Reduction Agency. It aims in particular to develop technical and procedural interoperability between the specific modules of the participants.
