The highlight! Six Lambos in a row! What a second garage where Countach is also enshrined!?[Garage Life](LE VOLANT CARSMEET WEB) |

Is this really a private residence…?The editorial department is also surprised, a garage where four Lamborghinis can be parked side by side

A car is nothing more than one of the industrial products, but strangely, the self? As a medium, it creates wonderful encounters between people. Mr. Y, who loves Lamborghini, also had a fateful encounter with Mr. Valentino Balboni, the former chief test driver of Lamborghini, through the existence of his favorite car.

“I built a new garage, so please come and have a look.” When Mr. Y, who lives in Wakayama Prefecture, told me that over the phone, I actually couldn’t understand what he meant for a few seconds. This is because nearly 10 years ago from now, I had already covered the huge garage built by Mr. Y for Lamborghini, which can be said to be a “lifetime thing”, and introduced the whole picture in “The Garage” in “GarageLife” No. 57. is.

So, while listening to Mr. Y’s story, I thought about things like “Is it really a new garage? What happened to the garage that I interviewed before?” rice field. But seeing is believing. At a later date, when Mr. Y sent me an image and I took a look at it, I found that the scale was too large, so I immediately headed west in a car full of shooting equipment for photographer O, who is always indebted to me.

Diablo Palace 18 years ago!
If you have “Garage Life” No. 57, please take a look at it, but at the request of Mr. Y’s mother, the “Diablo Palace” that I visited at that time built a Japanese-style room on the first floor that can also be used as a guest room. was Therefore, it was not possible to line up four Lamborghinis side by side.

To make it easier for you to read this issue alone, let me start by explaining the chronological order. After that, Mr. Y purchased a 1999 red Diablo VT Roadster, a 1994 Diablo SE He Jota, a 1979 Countach LP400S, and a 1996 white Diablo VT Roadster.

The first Lamborghini that Mr. Y bought at the age of 31 was a 1991 Diablo (yellow). When the Diablo Palace was completed, his favorite car was the 1995 black Diablo VT.

To quote the text published in “GarageLife” No. 57, “If a garage that can store 4 cars was completed, all cars could be lined up. The current 3-car garage is also rare. , A garage that can store 4 cars horizontally is even more rare, so if you have the opportunity to re-establish a house with a garage, I would like you to embody that plan.”

Yes, as you can see, Mr. Y said, “I haven’t given up on my dream of building a larger and more elaborate garage. I want to build a garage that can accommodate about 6 cars.” Thanks to the efforts of R Design Studio and Miyai Gumi, a truly new garage was built. And as you can see, it’s on a ridiculous scale…

A huge garage!
“This garage was completed in the spring of 2019. I spent a whole year when I was 50 years old to carefully build it. Instead, we decided to vacate the land where the house was originally built and build a garage. The land itself was purchased four to five years ago, planning took two and a half years, and construction started in 2018. The garage introduced in Garage Life No. 57 is still in use as a place to store Harley-Davidson.”

At the time of planning the garage that I visited this time, Mr. Y owned a total of 5 Lamborghinis, the 4 already mentioned + the 2010 Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni (orange), so it was possible to store 5 cars. I built a garage with a plan.

However, the author was coming to interview me, so they added a green Gallardo LP550-2 Valentino Balboni to match the shooting day!

The garage is large, so if you push yourself too hard, you can store 6 bulls, but since Mr. Y is a dreamer, he may expand the garage or build a new one. I am looking forward to the day when I will visit Wakayama again while anticipating future developments.

◆OWNER’S CHECK
・What are you most interested in?
Being able to see my favorite car from the living room and being able to put 4 cars next to it.
It’s fun and exciting to come home.
・Where did you go wrong?
Although I knew it, I set up a water basin with an emphasis on design, so I put out the car
is a little difficult. This is not a failure, but I really wanted to put the car on the second floor.
・What is your next dream?
When I think about it, I want to evolve the place more and more.
・Advice to the readers!
In order to convey your ideals and requests, it is good to show a photo to the designer or contractor.

I guess.I put a sticky note on the part of GarageLife magazine that caught my attention,
