the IGA focuses on the training of bosses for the prosperity of Gabonese companies in 2024 –

The Gabonese Institute of Administrators (IGA), whose purpose is to ensure professional practice,
the development and promotion of the administrator’s mission in order to make it more effective
the functioning of the boards of directors signed its 2024 academic entry, this 28
February, with a seminar for business administrators in order to contribute to the
sustainable performance of the latter.

“The year 2024 promises to be even richer and more edifying with a new range of programs aimed at
to strengthen and deepen the actions that we have carried out at this stage” announced Madame
Huguette OYINI, Executive Secretary of the Institute, partner of the Gabon Business Federation
(FEG) by addressing the administrators, managers and participants present at the event.
“You are not born an Administrator, you become one,” she recalled before inviting all of the
directors “practising or aspiring”, corporate officers, executives and managers in
responsible for corporate governance to join the Gabonese Institute of Directors to
« take up, together, the challenge of good governance for constant and sustainable performance of
our companies
».

The inaugural training of the year was led by Mr. Henri-Claude OYIMA, President of the
FEG. An experienced banker, Mr. Henri-Claude OYIMA shared the fundamental tools of
business intelligence, through which managers can measure and control
the overall business environment.

Based on the triptych of defense, attack and influence, economic intelligence, he recalled
involves in particular the exercise of commercial, competitive, financial monitoring,
environmental, legal and strategic, with the aim of making a company a winner
competitive.

For the second theme that punctuated the event, Madame Odile BOCANDE COFFI, coach of
business leaders, for his part, spoke to the participants on “Corporate Governance
as a growth accelerator” by addressing best practices, tools and innovations
technological and managerial aspects of governance, factors of increasing performance
for the company.

Since the start of its activities on May 9, 2023, the IGA has conducted around ten training courses for the benefit of
its members and, in order to better serve them, the Institute intends to triple this number, in 2024, through
several platforms set up including seminar sessions, webinars, a course
certifying and new offers “ tailor-made » developed with its international partners.
