Al-Marsad Newspaper: The Basra Governorate Police in Iraq arrested a rapist and murderer of a 7-year-old girl.

And Iraqi media reported that the child was kidnapped by a person, who in turn took her to his friend, where she was raped, then slaughtered with a knife, and her body was placed in a garbage bag, and thrown near a school.

For his part, the girl’s father said that his daughter was standing in front of their house, when a person came and gave her a thousand dinars (about half a dollar) and persuaded her to go with him to buy sweets.

He pointed out that the accused took her to an abandoned house, where he raped her, killed her, mutilated her body, and threw it in a garbage dump.

He added: After the disappearance of his daughter, he checked the surveillance cameras until he reached the accused, and went to his house, but the accused claimed that he left the child on the street after he bought her sweets.

He confirmed that they informed the police after his denial, which arrested him, as he confessed in the investigations to his crime.
