There may be only nine days left until the deadline for submitting applications for the position of Artistic Director of DIPETHE Patras, but to date, not a single file has arrived at the Theater’s offices, even those of Tatianas Loverdou and Dimitris Georgalas, who as revealed a few days ago by “P” they are the first two candidates.

And while the days pass, more and more names are coming to light regarding the contenders for the position, even as rumours, since as we wrote above, for the time being no nomination file has found its way to the offices of DIPETHE Patras.

Two of the names that are rumored to be applying in the coming days are those of the director, dramatist and professor at the theater studies department of the University of Athens Evanthias Stivanakis and the director and actor Fanis Dipla.

Evanthia Stivanaki is a professor at the Department of Theater Studies at the University of Athens. He was born in Patras and lives between Athens and Patras. In addition to being a dramatist, he is also a director and was the artistic director of the Agora theater in Patras. He is also an alternate member of the Board of Directors of DEPAP. At times he has collaborated with Stamatis Kraunakis, Alexandra Ladykou.

Her first involvement with the theater was at the age of 18, at the Theater Department of the University of Athens, where she performed in the play “The Chalk Circle”. The show was staged at Herodeion. He has collaborated with great personalities of art, theater, science, literature, etc.

Fanis Diplas has been working in Patras since 2000 as the Artistic Director of the Viomichaniki Theater Group and the “Lithographion” Theater.

He has acted as an actor in short films and occasionally teaches “Theatrical Acting”.
