The situation of Moroccan households in 10 points

– Household morale continues its downward trend to reach its lowest level since the survey began in 2008.

– The household confidence index (ICM) thus stood at 46.3 points in Q1, instead of 46.6 points recorded the previous quarter and 53.7 points a year earlier.

85.3% of households declare a deterioration in the standard of living over the past 12 months, 10.9% maintained at the same level and 3.8% improved.

– Over the next 12 months, 50.7% of households expect a deterioration in the standard of living37.4% to maintain the same level and 11.9% to an improvement.
