I wish her family and friends a lot of strength during this difficult time.” Ayca is survived by her husband Michael, whom she married in December 2020.
A fight with a bitter end
In the teenage edition of the weight loss show “The Biggest Loser”, Ayca Knüttel was one of the audience’s favorites in 2014. At that time, the 24-year-old was fighting against her excess weight. The next fight finally followed in 2019: she was diagnosed with leukemia. The TV fame immediately went into treatment. Her only hope: a stem cell transplant.
