It was around 2:45 p.m. on Tuesday when the Liège firefighters were called to intervene on Monsin Island, in Liège. They recovered a dead body there which, for the time being, has not yet been identified. It is still unclear whether it is a man or a woman. A medical examiner was sent to the scene, as well as the victim identification service of the federal police.
The Liège public prosecutor’s office confirms the information and adds that the precise causes of this death are not yet known.
