New payments will be made next week by DYPA for the “My Home” program.
As recently announced by the Ministry of Labor and Social Security, DYPA will pay from May 8 to May 10, 2024 the sum of 5 million euros to 60 beneficiaries of the “My Home” program.
It is recalled that borrowers who declared to the Tax Office an income of between 10,000 and 24,000 euros have joined this program, while the income limit for single-parent families is 27,000 euros. It is noted that the beneficiaries of the program could only buy properties worth up to 200,000 euros, which were at least 15 years old and up to 150 sq.m.
The profile of borrowers
The DYPA statistics for the My Home program showed, among other things, the following:
57% of borrowers are married, 39% are single and 4% are single parent families.
68% of borrowers have declared an income of 10,000-24,000 euros, while the average is 17,000 euros
The average amount of the program’s loans is 100,140 euros.
Through the program, 38% of houses (3,490 houses) were bought in Attica, 23% (2,116) in Central Macedonia, 7% (667 houses) in Eastern Macedonia and Thrace and 32% in the rest of Greece.
