At the microphone of Le Parisien, an environmental activist said that when night fell, he went out to deflate the tires of large cars that pollute too much. He explained that he wanted to make homeowners aware that they pose a danger to the planet.
The activist told our colleagues that he had already managed to deflate more than a hundred vehicles in a single night in Paris, in the 16th arrondissement.
And during one of his night outings, the man was followed by a journalist from Le Parisien, who filmed him deflating the tires of SUVs, 4x4s and other polluting cars. Once the tires are deflated, he sticks a poster explaining his action on the cars concerned. “If a owner of a large 4×4 decides to buy a city car for his next vehicle, that’s a win. Even if he decides to switch to a bike and take the train, then it’s paradise, ”says the deflator.
But the young man is not unaware that his act can be qualified as voluntary destruction according to French justice. He could therefore be fined.
