Tinder swindler: “I’m not a monster and I’m not a fake” – Love

The so-called “Tinder scam” dated dozens of women and then cheated on them out of millions. Now he is commenting on the allegations for the first time.

Now he has commented on the allegations against himself for the first time: The Netflix hit “The Tinder Swindler” tells the story of Simon Leviev, who is said to have cheated numerous women out of several million. The 31-year-old Israeli posed as a wealthy heir on the dating app Tinder, invited his victims on luxurious dates – and then asked them for money. In the Netflix documentary, the Israeli was finally exposed in a big way. However, he is far from being labeled as a “Tinder swindler”.

The 31-year-old has now publicly commented on the allegations for the first time – and denies all allegations. In the CBS-News-Sendung “Inside Edition” he said, “I was just a single man who wanted to meet some women on Tinder. I’m not a Tinder scammer.” Regarding the fact that the Netflix documentary portrays the situation very differently, he simply said: “They present the story as a documentary, but in reality it is a completely made-up film.” He also adds: “I’m not a monster and I’m not a fake. People don’t know me – so they can’t judge me either.”

His new girlfriend sticks by him

In the interview, Leviev emphasizes several times that nothing about the allegations against him is true. Although his statements may sound absurd or contradictory, there is one person who trusts him and stands by him: his new girlfriend. In the video interview, Leviev even kisses her on the mouth in front of the camera and says: “I’m the greatest gentleman in the world.”

According to several media reports, his girlfriend is the Israeli model Kate Konlin (24). Leviev is said to have been with her for a short time in 2021. The Israeli has not yet confirmed the name of the woman at his side. However, that could change soon. The full version of the two-part interview will be published on Monday and Tuesday CBS-Show.

Karrierepläne in Hollywood

The suspected Tinder scammer seems to be doing well, and not just when it comes to love. The 31-year-old is also aiming for a glamorous career in Hollywood – as a love guru. Leviev wants to write a book, launch his own dating show and host a romance podcast, according to an anonymous source “TMZ” has betrayed. In it, the Israeli wants to diligently distribute dating tips – for example about the do’s and don’ts on Tinder.

According to the online portal, Leviev is already under contract with a Hollywood manager: Gina Rodriguez from the company Gitoni Inc. She gave “Entertainment Tonight” an interview and said: “I was immediately intrigued by the Netflix story. I’ve seen the world’s best salesman.” She continued, “I believe there are two sides to every story and everyone should have the opportunity to tell their side of the story.”
