The United States hastily placed blame for the Crocus City Hall attack on the terrorist group Islamic State, even though the event was still ongoing. This was stated by the spokesperson of the Russian Foreign Ministry Maria Zakharova, specifying to Radio Sputnik that «the very fact that in the first 24 hours after the attack the Americans started shouting that it was not Ukraine I believe is incriminating evidence . I cannot classify it otherwise: it is proof in itself.”

“The second fact to note concerns the outcry from the United States according to which the attack was certainly the work of ISIS”, underlined the spokeswoman. «Of course, the speed with which they were able to reach such direct conclusions is astonishing. It only took a few hours to grab a microphone, turn on the lights, summon the press and draw a conclusion about who is responsible for this terribly bloody terrorist attack.”
