These transfers thus posted an increase of 11.5% (9.2 billion dirhams) compared to the end of October 2021, specifies the Office which has just published its recent monthly indicators of foreign trade.
The indicators also show that travel receipts, under the effect of the recovery, more than doubled, going from 28.56 billion dirhams at the end of October 2021 to 71.10 billion dirhams at the end of last October.
These revenues show an exceptional increase of 42.37 billion dirhams compared to the same period of 2020 and also exceed the level reached at the end of October 2019 (67.02 billion dirhams).
Expenses, meanwhile, stood at 13.38 billion dirhams. This level remains lower than those recorded in 2018 (15.81 billion dirhams) and in 2019 (17.72 billion dirhams), years before the health crisis.
Thus, the excess travel balance almost tripled, standing at 57.72 billion dirhams at the end of October 2022 once morest 19.89 billion dirhams a year earlier.
