The campaign to fight once morest spaces dedicated to the consumption of hookah or “Chicha” is not specific to the city of Salé. In Casablanca, the local authorities have already started shaking up shisha cafes which have no authorization to do so.
Videos have been circulating online showing law enforcement officers raiding Shisha cafes in Ain Diab’s seamstress drain on the evening of Friday, February 10. According to information provided by witnesses, a cafe in the same place had been subject to a decision to close for a period of two months for the same reason.
