The driver, identified as a 48-year-old milwaukee man, fled the scene on foot but was quickly apprehended by authorities.He was found to have multiple outstanding warrants. Charges are pending review by the Milwaukee County District Attorney’s Office.

In a separate incident during the chase, a Wauwatosa police squad car was struck near 20th and Hampton. The officers inside the vehicle were transported to a local hospital with non-life-threatening injuries.
