UAE Investment Bank denies merging with other banks

Abu Dhabi – Mubasher: The investment bank, listed on the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange, denied today, Thursday, the existence of any talks regarding merging with other banks.

In a disclosure to the stock exchange, the bank indicated that the bank has not been officially authorized in this regard.

He clarified that he is committed to the official and immediate disclosure to the Abu Dhabi Securities Exchange and the Securities and Commodities Authority in the event of discussion in this regard..

Sources told CNBC Arabia that 3 Emirati banks listed on the Abu Dhabi market, namely the Bank of Sharjah, the Investment Bank and the United Arab Bank, are studying merging with each other following the financial failures these banks experienced during the previous years..
