The UN condemns strikes on civilian infrastructure in Moscow and the Moscow region, said Stéphane Dujarric, a spokesman for the organization’s secretary general.

“Of course, we condemn any attacks on civilians and civilian infrastructure wherever they occur,” declared Dujarric (quote from RIA Novosti), commenting on what happened.

Drones attacked several buildings in Moscow on the morning of May 30. The mayor of the capital, Sergei Sobyanin, said that no one was seriously injured as a result of the attack, two people sought medical help, which they received on the spot, but no one needed hospitalization. On the fact of the incident, the main department of the Investigative Committee of Russia opened a criminal case on terrorism under Art. 205 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation.

Earlier on May 30, it became known that the US National Security Council was studying information about the incident. The council’s message said the US “generally does not support attacks inside Russia.”

The European Union also responded to reports of drone strikes. The representative of the foreign policy service of the European Union, Peter Stano, explained that the union does not have information about the incident.
