Al-Marsad newspaper: The CEO of Cais Actuarial Services, Sulaiman Al-Mayouf, revealed the difference between comprehensive health insurance and private sector insurance.
He said: “National health insurance is comprehensive for all citizens without exceptions, but there are some people who will have insurance in the private sector, whether in the company they work in, or the national or governmental body, and it will have a private health insurance program.”
Al-Mayouf added during his appearance on Al-Resala TV: “National insurance will be comprehensive and integrated, funded by the state, and will be for life, and will include the citizen from before his birth through pre-marital examination, and this is a preventive aspect, so that we do not have chronic diseases in the future.”
He continued: “Private health insurance is limited to certain approvals and amounts. In the event that these amounts run out, the citizen has the right to enter the national health program, given that he is a citizen and the law guarantees him this.”
