Al-Marsad newspaper: The former Kuwaiti goalkeeper, Jassem Bahman, appeared on the Kuwaiti Al-Shahed channel, after the start of the 2022 World Cup in Qatar, and commented on his previous statements that there would be no World Cup in Qatar.
And he said: “I did not make a mistake on anyone. I said that my dream and the dream of others is that there will be no World Cup, but what I hope is that God fulfills our dreams. I did not say what I want.”
Bahman had said in a tweet before the start of the World Cup that he had seen in a dream that there would be no World Cup in Qatar, but he indicated that he did not wish his visions and dreams to come true, as he put it.
With the organization of the tournament in the State of Qatar, the opening ceremony and the start of the matches, “Bahman” has become a field of ridicule for many, especially tweeters in Qatar.
