What to do if Calendar isn’t syncing with iCloud [iPhone, iPad e Mac]

2024-03-23 19:30:00

The native app Calendar (Calendar) allows you to keep track of your appointments and share your company or family calendars with other people.

Additionally, you can use multiple accounts — which includes iCloud. As it uses Apple’s cloud services, your event synchronization may not be working as it should.

Therefore, we have put together some tips that can help resolve just this.

Here we go?! 🗓️

  • Check out the status page of Apple services. Often one of them has a problem, which can affect synchronization.
  • Make sure your iPhone/iPad and your Mac are signed in to the iCloud account you want to sync calendars with.
    • On iPhone/iPad, open Settings, tap your photo (at the top of the screen) and scroll to iCloud » Show All » iCloud Calendar.
    • On your Mac, open System Settings, click your photo (in the top left bar), scroll to iCloud » Show More Apps… and see if “iCloud Calendar” is turned on.
  • Make sure you’re using the same Apple ID on all your devices.
  • Check if the device clock is set correctly.
  • If you’re using the iCloud client for Windows PCs, make sure you’re running the latest version of the operating system.
  • Make sure iCloud calendars are selected within the app.
    • On iPhone/iPad, select “Calendars” at the bottom and see if they are marked.
    • On your Mac, go to View » Show Calendar List in the menu bar.
  • Update the calendar by going to “Calendars”.
    • At the bottom of the app for iPhones and iPads, swipe down from the top.
    • On your Mac, go to View » Update Calendars or use the shortcut ⌘ command R.

We hope everything gets resolved there! 😊
