Without diet and exercise, a “miracle pill” reduces weight

It seems that a new invention will ease the troubles of the weight loss journey, as scientists are working to develop a drug that will lose weight without changing the diet or exercise.

According to the British newspaper “The Sun”, an early version of the treatment is being tried in Texas, where the drug, called “CPACC”, is currently being injected into mice that are fed the worst diets full of fat, calories and sugar.

The results showed that the mice did not gain weight and had lower rates of health problems, such as heart disease, strokes and fatty liver disease.
Scientists are now close to bringing the drug to market and hope to conduct human trials this year.

The developers of the drug from the University of Texas said: “We did not see any negative effects. Liver and heart functions were normal following taking the drug twice a week.”
