Next Friday, July 21, the XVII Conference for Graduates of the Postgraduate in Internal Medicine of the Universidad de Oriente, Núcleo Bolívar, will be held in Ciudad Bolívar.
The information was released by Dr. Tarik Saab Saab, coordinator of this internal medicine postgraduate medical-scientific activity that will be held in the auditorium of the Chamber of Commerce of Ciudad Bolívar, and will include the participation of prominent speakers.
The activity will begin at 8:00 am with welcome words from the organizer of this event, to continue with the cardiovascular module, with presentations by Dr. Rosa Martínez with “Heart Failure with Fraction”; in addition to Dr. Alida Navas and her presentation “Ischemic Stroke. Present”; to finish this round with Dr. Marisol Sandoval and “Clinical History in Internal Medicine”.
At 10:15 am, the Endocrine-Metabolic Module will begin with presentations such as “Subclinical Hypothyroidism”, Dr. Magda Luna; “Diabetes Technology Blood Glucose Monitoring and Continuous Glucose Monitoring”, Dr. Liliana Vera; “Diabetic Ketoacidosis”, Dr. María Marcano. At 11:30 am, Dr. Yurilis Fuentes will talk to us about “The sooner the better, betting on an early diagnosis in Lupus.”
At 2:00 pm, Dr. Yeliuska Bello will be in charge of giving the “New guidelines in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia”; to continue with “Dermatological manifestations of systematic diseases” by Dr. Milagros García; “Pulmonary manifestations of systemic diseases” by Dr. Luis Brito.
“Internal medicine residents in action”, under the coordination of Dr. Luis Soto, and with the participation of doctors Kimberly Heinz-Raven, Rene Devis, Thailyn Bermúdez. To end these conferences with the presentation of free works, with the coordination of Dr. Yurilis Fuentes, with the doctors Marisol Sandoval and Alida Navas as juries.
