Zoom Unveils Fiscal 2030 Targets and Unified Context Layer at Zoomtopia
Zoom Communications Inc. shares rose 2.81% to trade at $100.20 on Wednesday after the company announced long-term financial guidance and a suite of artificial intelligence tools during its annual Zoomtopia event, TradingView News reported. The conference showcased the company’s strategic evolution beyond traditional video conferencing into a broader enterprise communications and workflow platform.
The company laid out its financial roadmap for the end of the decade. Zoom set fiscal 2030 targets projecting revenue growth between 6% and 8%, paired with an adjusted operating margin of roughly 40% and an adjusted gross margin of approximately 80%.
To back those financial projections, the company introduced the Unified Context Layer alongside new AI-driven products. These systems aim to translate raw meeting data into actionable tasks, assisting businesses with workflow automation and productivity gains.
Wall Street Analysts Raise Forecasts on AI Growth Potential
Market response to the product announcements was swift. Wall Street institutions adjusted their ratings and price targets following the investor sessions.
Oppenheimer analyst Timothy Horan upgraded Zoom from Perform to Outperform, establishing a $130 price forecast. Horan expressed confidence in the company’s product expansion, centering his outlook on three pillars: Conversation, Context, and Completion. He noted that broader adoption of these features should drive up average revenue per user and improve customer retention rates.
Horan raised his fiscal 2030 revenue estimate by 3.3% to reach $6.06 billion. He expects the integration of advanced artificial intelligence to strengthen customer relationships while helping the company maintain stable profit margins.
BTIG analyst Allan Verkhovski maintained a Buy rating on the stock with a $125 price forecast. Verkhovski revised his enterprise revenue growth projections upward for both fiscal 2028 and fiscal 2029, raising them to 7.4% and 8.7% respectively, up from earlier estimates of 6.3% and 5.2%. Both figures sit above Wall Street consensus estimates.
Diverging Enterprise Growth Expectations for 2030
Verkhovski noted that management anticipates enterprise revenue growth to accelerate into double digits by fiscal 2030. That acceleration relies on lowering customer churn, expanding large enterprise accounts, and driving monetization through new AI-powered revenue streams.
