A resident of Khabarovsk received 12 and a half years in the case of treason

The Khabarovsk Regional Court sentenced local resident Vyacheslav Mamukov to 12 years and six months in prison on charges of high treason (Article 275 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). According to the FSB, the convict tried to sell secret data on the transport infrastructure to the secret services of Ukraine.

The FSB Public Relations Center reported that Vyacheslav Mamukov had access to information representing state secrets, and, having contacted representatives of the Ukrainian special services via the Internet, he offered to transfer information to them for a monetary reward. However, the position and place of work of Vyacheslav Mamukov is not specified.

In accordance with the decision of the Fifth Court of Appeal of General Jurisdiction, the verdict entered into force.
