Bangladesh warehouse fire kills 38, injures more than 300

A fire broke out at a warehouse in Bangladesh. Resulting in at least 38 deaths and more than 300 injuries, while the cause of the fire is unclear.

Bangladesh firefighters mobilize to spray water to fight a blazing fire at a port in the Bangladeshi city of Chittagong, a foreign news agency reported today (5 June 2022). The fire ignited following an explosion. This resulted in at least 38 deaths and more than 300 injuries.

Many of the injured were reported to be in critical condition. and the number of deaths is expected to increase further including hospitals in the area full of wounded and need a lot of blood

At least five firefighters were killed in the explosion and several others were injured.

While the cause of the fire is not yet clear. But it may be caused by the chemicals contained in the containers. There are regarding 4,000 containers in the port, some of which are clothes. garments prepared for export to the west
