El Matareya College of Engineering announced the Automotive Mechatronics Engineering Program, which is a credit-hour program, and that the program combines the mechanical and electrical disciplines of the Colleges of Engineering in BHelwan University.
Dr. Mohamed Hassanein Rabie, Dean of the College, indicated that the program is the first in public universities in Egypt in this field, and the program includes a study of smart cars, in addition to electric cars.
He stated that the study in the mechatronics engineering program focuses on modern designs in cars (electric cars), and the study of control systems, electronics and communications used in smart cars. The program provides the possibility of training outside Egypt in Japan, America and England, as well as participating in international competitions in the field of electric car design.
The program accepts new students from high school who are accepted to the college or accepted to any government engineering college, as well as students transferred to the first year. And mechanical design from different colleges of engineering.
