Al-Marsad newspaper: Dr. Fahd Al-Khudairi, a specialist in carcinogen research, revealed a common fruit that works to lower blood sugar, and explained how to eat it.

He said during a tweet posted on his Twitter account: “The pomegranate is considered one of the best seasonal fruits that combine citrus fruits with fruits with healthy natural sugars, and eat it whole (and not just juice, but rather eat it with the pulp inside the seeds. It digests, nourishes, and reduces the level of Blood sugar, helps digestion and nourishes the body, and contains antioxidants such as polyphenols.

He continued: “Pomegranate is considered a meal if it is eaten with a cup of yogurt (or in yoghurt) and it becomes a complete nutrient and more beneficial because the yoghurt complements some of its properties and increases its benefits to become rich in vitamins, fats, protein and carbohydrates.
