Emirates News Agency – Ali bin Tamim: Union Day is a celebration of more than five decades of achievements

ABU DHABI, 1st December, 2020 (WAM) — His Excellency Dr. Ali bin Tamim, President of the Abu Dhabi Center for the Arabic Language, affirmed that the “51st Union Day” for the United Arab Emirates is a celebration of the achievements and successes of more than five decades since the establishment of the union, whose foundations were built by the founding fathers, headed by the late His Sheikh Zayed bin Sultan Al Nahyan and his brothers, the rulers of the Emirates, set a pioneering example in the progress and prosperity of countries. He became a role model in all international forums.

In a speech on this occasion, he said: “Today, our wise leadership, led by His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, President of the State, “may God protect him,” and his brother, His Highness Sheikh Mohammed bin Rashid Al Maktoum, Vice President and Prime Minister of the UAE and Ruler of Dubai, “may God protect him,” continues. And their brothers, Their Highnesses, members of the Supreme Council of the Union and Rulers of the Emirates, are consolidating these successes and moving our country forward in deepening its renaissance and achieving the goals of its development plans in all sectors.

He added, “Union Day is an occasion dear to all of our hearts, through which we renew our loyalty and belonging to this good land, whose achievements have come to embrace the sky, and fill us with feelings of pride and pride, these feelings whose seeds were planted many years ago in the soul of every Emirati, male and female, to bear fruit with more work and dedication In serving the nation for a bright present and a better future for our future generations.”

He concluded by saying, “We congratulate the leadership and people of the Emirates and the residents on its land on this occasion, praying to the Lord to perpetuate security and safety for our state, and every year and our dear Emirates with a thousand good, prosperity and stability.”
