“After the throwing of fecal matter, they overturned the chairs, jostled everyone and tried to approach the back of the room, before people intervened to prevent them from attacking the speakers”, tells the Figaro Florence Bergeaud-Blackler, who says to herself “shocked” by this unprecedented aggression against his associative establishment.
Shortly after the events, the police arrived on the spot but they were only able to arrest one activist, while the rest of the collective had fled. The participants of the conference, however, insisted that the activists explain their actions. Florence Bergeaud-Blackler indicates that she has filed a complaint. As for Caroline Eliacheff, she regrets the course of the evening and the violence of which she is regularly the victim. “I am no longer at peace anywhere. The only solution for me is to be present by surprise at events, like last Friday during a symposium at the Faculty of Medicine in Paris, or else to ask for an important police force as was the case in Issy-les- Moulineaux where the authorities checked the participants one by one”.
