Thiruvananthapuram – Senior BJP leader O. Rajagopal praised the ‘Keraliyam’ program organized by the state government. He said that Keraliyam is a good program and he does not know why the BJP is protesting. He said this while talking to the media when he came to participate in the closing ceremony of Keraliyam. Chief Minister Pinarayi Vijayan welcomed O. Rajagopal to the program during his speech.
‘Isn’t it an important event, isn’t it making announcements? There is importance. That’s why he came. The Chief Minister makes important announcements. It is our duty to participate in it. So they are not blindly opposed. We welcome anyone who does reasonable things. It doesn’t matter whether it is Communist, Congress or whoever’ – he said.
BJP state president K. Surendran came out criticizing the Keralayam programme. Meanwhile, O. Rajagopal participated in the program.
