With changing lifestyles as well as lack of awareness, the incidence and prevalence of kidney disease continues to grow in our country. Faced with a scourge which, by 2040, is expected to rank fifth among the causes of mortality worldwide, specialists are mobilizing to call for pooling efforts and deploying the necessary means to improve the early diagnosis of these diseases. On the occasion of World Kidney Day, celebrated on March 9, 2023, the associations working in this field have mobilized to highlight the needs and deficiencies that exist in terms of care, access to care and prevention campaigns.
