King of Fighters XV trailer features DLC character Kim Kaphwan

SNK has released a new trailer for the upcoming King of Fighters XV DLC character Kim Kaphwan, who also makes her triumphant return from The King of Fighters XIV. Kim Kaphwan is the second DLC character for Season 2, the first being Shingo Yabuki.

The latest trailer for King of Fighters XV features Kim Kaphwan, who is voiced by Kunihiro Kawamoto. Kim joins the roster this spring in Season 2, and her classic costume from before king of fighters games is included as a special bonus. Additionally, eight staff songs will be added to the DJ Station in a free update alongside the launch of Kim Kaphwan. Kim Kaphwan’s exact release date has not been revealed, but EVO Japan 2023 attendees can try out the new DLC character at the event.

A special game corner will be available at SNK’s official booth at EVO Japan 2023 on April 2 featuring a playable version of Kim Kaphwan. Additionally, the first 1,000 visitors to SNK’s booth on April 2 will receive clear folders featuring special artwork by the game’s lead designer, Tomohiro Nakata. EVO Japan 2023 takes place from March 31 to April 2 at the Tokyo Big Sight site in Japan.

King of Fighters XV DLC – Kim Kaphwan Trailer

Along with the release of Kim Kaphwan, King of Fighters XV will receive support for cross-platform play. Four more characters will make their way to King of Fighters XV in 2023 including Sylvie Paula Paula and Najd. Sylvie and Najd release in the summer of 2023, followed by two other DLC characters releasing in the fall and winter, respectively. More details on upcoming DLCs will be available soon, so stay tuned for updates.
