SEOUL (Archyde.com) – South Korea’s foreign exchange regulator will meet with local banks at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday to discuss recent market conditions. The purpose is pure exchange of opinions.

“This is not an unusual meeting. We have held such meetings in the past on an as-needed basis,” the official said on condition of anonymity. Details were not disclosed.
About 10 banks will attend the meeting, according to Yonhap news agency.
