Lulu Group lends a helping hand to the Palestinian people suffering in Gaza. Lulu’s regional office in Cairo brought essential items, including food items, to Gaza. The Lulu Group is also involved in voluntary work in other Gulf countries.
EgyptRed Crescent Chief Executive Officer Dr. Rami Al Nasser was presented with assistance by LuluEgypt Bahrain Director Juzar Rupawala, Regional Director Husayfa Qureshi and Lulu Egypt Manager Hatim Saeed. Rami Al-Nasser informed that the Egyptian Red Crescent authorities will bring them to Gaza through the Rafah border.
Lulu handed over 50 tonnes of relief goods in the first phase. Lulu Group is also joining hands with ‘Tarahumfor Gaza’ announced by the UAE to help the people affected by the war. For this, special centers have been opened at various Lulu Hypermarkets to receive assistance.
The aid is being sent to Gaza through the UAE Red Crescent. Bahrain Lulu Group has already handed over 25,000 dinars through the Bahraini Royal Humanitarian Foundation to the people of Gaza who are suffering due to the war.
