The Iraqi composer, Mohsen Farhan, died in the Iraqi capital, Baghdad, after a struggle with illness at the age of 75.
The Iraqi Artists Syndicate called Farhan a “great composer”.
And he recently suffered from a deteriorating health condition, and as a result, artists appealed to the Iraqi government to help him before he died at Al-Kindi Hospital in the capital, Baghdad.
It is noteworthy that Mohsin Farhan is an Iraqi composer, born in the city of Kut in Wasit Governorate in 1947. He has been known for his tunes since the seventies, including (Stranger Soul), (they say I sing with joy), (I don’t want to be with me).
Farhan, along with other Iraqi artists, founded the Association of Iraqi Composers and Authors.
