Elaf: The Lebanese singer Merva Qamar announced that she will soon release a package of songs from the beautiful time, with a new, modern distribution, without killing the aesthetics of the original song and not distorting the creativity of the giants, but rather returning it to the glow again.
Qamar, who is armed with her sweet voice and academic study of music and solfege, indicated that she will perform these songs at the “Dubai Opera” next March 2024 in a public ceremony in which she will also present some of her old and new songs that have achieved a good spread and won the admiration of listeners and viewers.
Regarding the works that she intends to renew, she said: “The first song that I will release is “I Believe in God” by the Lebanese artist “Laure Daccache” (1917-2005), who lived a period of her life in Cairo. Known as “Farid Ghosn”.
The second song, Taqtuta Saleh Abdel-Hay, “Why Ya Violet,” was written by the Tunisian poet Bayram and composed by Riyad Al-Sunbati in 1930, while the third song by the late artist Faiza Ahmed, “Ya Tamr Henna,” was written by the Egyptian poet Khalil Al-Bandari and composed by Muhammad Al-Moji in 1957.
And she adds: “I will also re-distribute and sing the song “From My Love to You, My Neighbor” by the late artist Houria Hassan, written by Morsi Gamil Aziz and composed by Muhammad Al-Muji. 1958, written by Morsi Gamil Aziz and composed by Muhammad Al-Muji.
