Mohamed Salah, captain of the Pharaohs team, sent a message to the Egyptian fans, before the upcoming confrontation tonight with Senegal in the first round of the qualifying round for the 2022 World Cup in Qatar.
Salah published a picture of the Cairo Stadium, with the fans filling it completely, through his account on Instagram, accompanied by the comment: “We need you tomorrow.”
The match will be held today, Friday, at the Cairo International Stadium, which has a capacity of about 75,000 spectators.
Egypt enters the match with an additional motivation, which is to avenge the defeat against Senegal in the final of the last African Nations Cup, which took place in Cameroon last February.
The return match between the two teams will be held in Senegal next Tuesday.
