Texas-based builder Muckleroy & Falls has appointed Josh Carson as Vice President – Business Unit Leader to help lead the growth of Dallas Business Unit. Carson, leveraging over two decades of commercial construction expertise, is set to drive the division’s expansion, bolstering the firm’s footprint and its capacity to provide services to clients throughout Dallas, Collin County, and the wider DFW Metroplex.
Strategic Growth in the DFW Metroplex
The move is intended to strengthen the reach of Muckleroy & Falls within the North Texas construction market. By positioning Carson to lead the Dallas Business Unit, the firm is giving clients and partners more direct access to local leadership. This is a strategy that Taylor Hale, President of M&F, describes as an “important step in the continued growth of M&F” that will facilitate the firm’s ability to handle an increased volume of work across the Metroplex while staying rooted in the fundamental principles and people that have defined M&F.
For Carson, the transition is rooted in the firm’s reputation for high-touch client service. “What drew me to M&F was the foundation already in place: its reputation, culture and core values,” Carson noted. “M&F has built a culture where people are genuinely invested in each other and in serving clients’ needs at a high level.”
A Resume Built on Complex Infrastructure
Carson arrives at Muckleroy & Falls with a track record of scaling high-revenue divisions. Most recently, he helped start a Dallas commercial division that grew to 50 people and reached approximately $300 million in annual revenue. His portfolio spans a diverse array of sectors, including hospitality, faith-based, and high-profile institutional projects.
His resume features significant local landmarks, such as the Renzo Piano Pavilion at the Kimbell Art Museum, the UT Dallas Davidson Gundy Alumni Center, and the Sheraton McKinney Hotel and Conference Center.
Leadership Philosophy and Market Integration
Beyond technical delivery, Muckleroy & Falls is emphasizing Carson’s ability to foster collaboration. Clint Moyes, Vice President of Operations at M&F, highlighted that Carson’s leadership style centers on accountability and clear communication. “He knows how to bring clients, design partners, trade partners and our teams together around a shared goal,” Moyes stated. This approach of “solving forward”—getting the right people involved early and communicating clearly—is the methodology Carson intends to apply to the Dallas portfolio.
Carson’s integration into the North Texas market is further supported by his involvement in industry associations. His chairmanship of the TEXO Foundation for nearly 10 years and his role as chair of the University of Oklahoma Construction Science Advisory Board provide him with networks within the regional construction ecosystem. These professional ties are expected to be an asset as M&F looks to serve more clients in the Metroplex.
The Future of M&F’s Dallas Footprint
By formalizing a dedicated leadership unit for Dallas, Muckleroy & Falls is signaling its intent to support more projects in the Metroplex. The firm maintains that despite this growth, the priority remains the “service, partnership and care” that clients have come to expect from the company.
