The regulations published by Umm Al-Qura newspaper today (Friday) included that everyone who wishes to enter the Kingdom for the purpose of tourism must obtain a valid visa, unless his entry does not require that, and the validity of the visa is according to its type, as follows: One-time entry And its validity is for a period of 3 months, provided that the residence period does not exceed one month and multiple entry, and its validity is for a year, provided that the residence period does not exceed 3 months during the validity period.

Article 4 of the regulations stated that the electronic platform publishes a list of countries whose nationalities can apply for a visa by one of the following means: The first: visa on arrival: in which the tourist applies for a visa upon his arrival at one of the Kingdom’s ports. He purchases a tourism program package approved by the Ministry, then the licensed travel and tourism service provider, unless the procedure requires verification of his data through one of the Kingdom’s missions abroad and who has a valid tourist or commercial visitor visa from the United States of America or the Kingdom The United States, or one of the countries of the Schengen agreement, provided that it was used at least once to enter the country that granted the visa, and this includes first-degree relatives of the visa holder coming with him and who has permanent residence in the United States of America, or permanent residence in the countries of the European Union, Or permanent residence in the United Kingdom, and this includes relatives of the first-degree residence holder coming with him and who has a residence visa – valid for a period of no less than 3 months – in the countries of the Cooperation Council for the Arab States of the Gulf, according to the professions published in the electronic platform, and this includes relatives of the holder First-class residence visa for those coming with him, and those with domestic professions coming with their sponsors, provided that when examining the application for obtaining a visa, he takes into account the bilateral agreements and memorandums of understanding signed between the Kingdom And other countries organizing the granting of visit visas to citizens of the two countries, and also according to the principle of reciprocity, provided that an amount of (300) riyals is obtained as a fee for a visit visa for the purpose of tourism.
