VATICAN CITY ∙ Pope Francis’ health has improved but he still has a fever, the Vatican said. The 86-year-old Pope developed shortness of breath and edema while addressing the UN Climate Summit in Dubai. The Pope uses a wheelchair, which makes it difficult for him to walk due to knee problems. He appeared in public on Wednesday but limited his speech, saying he was still unwell.

The Vatican announced it was canceling a trip to Dubai to attend a United Nations climate summit. The trip was scheduled from Friday to Sunday. It is not yet clear whether Pope Francis will address the gathering.
