His team decided to terminate his contract. He had already been suspended since the affair broke out. “The club has already contacted us. My son will have to answer. Of course, that’s understandable. I hope his career will not be compromised. The sacrifices I have made for my son and his football career are enormous. It would be sad if all our efforts were wiped out because of this,” his family said last June.
As a reminder, the footballer was then the only one to partially admit the facts. He had thus received his sentence directly, a suspended one-year prison sentence, and had been authorized to return home.
