During his tour of the seventh day, inside the first public beach, the engineer Islam Mahmoud, the general supervisor of the tourist walkway project in the new city of El Alamein, confirmed that the beach consists of several stages, the first stage is 7 km, and its implementation began in mid-2018. It was completely finished and opened to the public, while the second phase, 3 km in length, was started in the middle of last year, and is scheduled to be completed at the end of next month.

Engineer Islam Mahmoud explained that the public beach is 7 kilometers long and 26 meters wide, and includes lanes for pedestrians, others for bicycles, fixed charging points, and places for rest and seats, pointing out that each kilo has garages for expatriates, and perches per kilo, and men’s bathrooms. Ladies in every kilo, restaurants, cafes and services.

He pointed out that the second phase of the public beach, which was started in the middle of 2020, has reached a completion rate of about 75%, and is scheduled to be completed within the next month.
