Jade, a 36-year-old Briton, explained on TikTok that she was pronounced dead for three minutes following suffering severe heat stroke.
That day, the young woman had gone to visit a friend in Wisconsin. The thermometer showed 32 degrees and it was very humid. Jade began to suffer from severe nausea, dizziness, exhaustion and her mouth went dry. The thirty-year-old ended up collapsing on the sofa in the living room.
“I went out for a smoke and the moment I finished and got up I knew straight away I was in trouble. My priority immediately became getting inside. I don’t think I understood at this point that I was dying,” says Jade. “I felt like my head was swelling and my whole body was shrinking. I had never experienced anything like it before. Then everything went black and that’s when I knew I was going to die, ”adds the young woman.
She was rushed to hospital and doctors pronounced her dead for three minutes. “I had been in extreme fear of dying before this incident, but when it actually happened, I had no fear,” Jade shared on TikTok.
At the hospital, she was revived with a defibrillator. Doctors told her a few days later that she had been pronounced dead for three minutes upon arrival.
