Last Monday, the lifeless body of Nico Becker, a 21-year-old Jemeppois, was discovered in a burnt-out van in the middle of a field in Lonzée (Gembloux). The Namur public prosecutor’s office quickly confirmed that it was intentional homicide and that the death was not caused by the fire. The victim received two bullets, one in the chest, the other in the skull. The author of the shots is Gaëtan Legros, a 30-year-old Gembloutois. He was quickly arrested and confessed to the facts. Alix, the second suspect, aged 27 and also from Gembloux, was very close to Gaëtan since the two men worked together.
