On the 17th (local time), two men in southern Turkey (Turkey) were miraculously rescued 261 hours following the earthquake, CNN Turk reported.

According to reports, two men were rescued 261 hours following the earthquake from the rubble of a hospital in Turkiye Hatay Province, one of the worst-hit areas by the earthquake. They were immediately transported by ambulance to a nearby field hospital for treatment.

On this day, 260 hours following the earthquake, a teenage boy, Osman, was also dramatically rescued in Hatay. “As a result of everyone’s hard work, treatment is currently taking place at the hospital,” Turkish Health Minister Faretin Koca tweeted.

As the number of deaths from the earthquake in Turkey rose to 36,369 on the same day, the cumulative death toll, including those in Syria, reached 42,183.

Miraculous news was delivered, such as the rescue of a survivor who had endured for more than 10 days the day before, while desperate rescue operations were continuing to rescue survivors until the end in Turkiye.
