The first competitions take place today in Eugene as part of the Diamond League finals. SPOX reveals how you can watch the athletics spectacle live on TV and live stream.
A long Diamond League season will come to an end in the next few days. The track and field athletes are in action in Eugene, USA, where the 14th and final meeting will take place. Unlike the meetings before it, the final is spread over two days. The first day of competition begins on Saturday, September 16th at 8 p.m. German time at the University of Oregon’s Hayward Field stadium. The second part takes place on Sunday (September 17th) at 8:30 p.m.
The top eight in each competition receive prize money. The winner receives a total of 30,000 US dollars, the runners-up can look forward to 12,000 US dollars, while third place receives 7,000 US dollars. The eighth person collects at least 1,000 US dollars.

Diamond League 2023, final live today: athletics on free TV and live stream
There will be no broadcast of the final competitions on free-to-air television in Germany. If you still don’t want to miss anything happening in Eugene, you can only find it on Sky. The pay-TV channel broadcasts both days of the competition and uses two channels. Sky Sport Mix is responsible for day 1 on Saturday, where the broadcast starts at 8.45 p.m. For final day 2, in addition to Sky Sport Mix, Sky Sport Top Event will also be available on Sunday, again from 8:45 p.m.
Sky offers the Diamond League final not only on pay TV, but also as a paid live stream. You can access this with a SkyGo subscription. But the streaming service WOW also activates the streams.
