The turnover of the company, which also has locations in Bad Ischl and Marchtrunk, rose by 14 percent to around 332 million euros.
“The quantities have hardly grown,” said Baumit’s managing director Georg Bursik at a press conference. The significantly larger Baumit Group, which is active in 25 countries, increased sales from 1.44 to 1.76 billion euros.
Baumit Austria’s profit was slightly higher than in 2021, said Bursik, without giving details. The number of employees in Austria rose from 700 to 720. The group employs 4,900 people worldwide.
